On Saturday 11/24, eleven children received the book The Chick Who Changed Color, this time from the rural area of Valinhos/SP. The delivery was at the project Aula de Reforço Escolar by teacher Dominique Guimarães Thielemann, which assists students from 5 to 15 years old from the public school in the area.
After they were given the books, the children read it out loud and drew its main character, the chick Margarida. During the next classes, they will talk about bullying based on the book’s plot.
The books donation is part of the project Climbing the Beanstalk from Instituto Fazenda São Pedro: at each book you buy, another one is donated to children from rural areas. Learn more about the project here or visit our store to see our products (Portuguese only).
